Nikon SB 700 not working?
While the day got darker and darker, I pulled out my SB700 while I was shooting for a local fiesta in our province and I inserted it with my Nikon D90 and began to shoot with my first shot with the flash. The flash popped out but when I checked the picture, the flash didn't went through. The picture was a little dark. No flash or whatsoever.
Need help please?
What do you mean "the flash popped out?" The SB700 is a fixed flashgun. How can it "pop out"?
If you mean the flash went off, that you could see the flash, then how far away was the thing you were trying to photograph?
Did the flashgun have fresh batteries? Have you tried testing it since?
Your flashgun has an effective range of around 20 meters. How far away was the fiesta?
It seems to be you have a weak connection. Possibly the spring tension inside the flesh is not right. You should take a stab at fixing it.
