Nikon d90 macro lens?

Okay so I have a Nikon d90 which has been sitting on my desk gathering the dust ever since my ex boyfriend did something to it… Its not broken but I can't seem to be able to make the same quality pictures as I used to. Not sure if he cracked my focus or anything but in any case I haven't played with it in a while. I was thinking of changing the lens. And I really wanted to get a macro lens and explore a bit with that… Since I'm not a photographer and I haven't played with my camera in a while I really don't want to be spending a lot of money on a lens. Could anybody more into this stuff give me an advice as to what to get? :/ I don't wanna spend more than 200 and all the websites I've checked online ppl name lenses that are way off my price range…

I checked a local website and someone is selling these

The least expensive macro lens you are going to find for your camera is the Nikon AF-S 40mm f/2.8 micro. At $279 it is pretty close to your budget.

From your link, those lenses would fit and work on your D90, but they would be manual focus and manual exposure only. And none of them are macro lenses.

Test the camera and lens first. Recharge the battery overnight. In the morning, set the camera to P mode, exposure compensation (lightmeter) to 0 (zero), ISO to auto, white balance to auto, AF on, and VR (if available) on. Look for a brightly colored car parked under the sun and shoot from about 10 feet away.

If the picture is great in the LCD but is blurred when you look through the viewfinder, adjust the diopter. If you don't have a manual, download one from the official Nikon website. If the picture doesn't come out nice, have the camera checked at the service center.

The macro lens you linked is manual and although it will work with your camera, it will be extremely difficult to use. Try one of these instead.

Are you sure he didn't just change the resolution settings to low or image quality to low to try to fit more pictures on the SD card?

Don't go buying new lenses until you are sure that the body hasn't been damaged. If it has been knocked hard then the sensor could be damaged. Get it checked in a camera shop. They might even let you try a lens out.
