Most DX lenses will work on your D600.
The camera switches to DX format automatically when you mount a DX lens, and you should be able to see the the change of format in your viewfinder as well.
Bare in mind that your focal length will change by using DX lenses on a full-frame camera (ca. 1.5x), but in general: yes, your DX lens will work on your D600
