Will i be able to bring a Nikon 1 j1 to a concert venue?

I'm going to a One Direction concert and was wondering if i would be able to take my camera with me or would security take it away.

I don't know about security taking your camera, but they may bar you from entering the concert, until you find a place for your camera.

I'd check the venue's website. Many places do allow for cameras but many also don't, particularly concerts. You can bring it, but if they ask you to not have it then you can probably ask a restaurant or bar to hold it until you return. Some do charge. But they certainly won't take your camera away. Keep in mind they sell DVDs and it wouldn't be fair if someone else could go ahead and film it to make money off their performance.

Who cares? No camera will make those talentless hacks sound any better.
