Why are the prices so different for the same product?

as far as i can tell, they're the same product. So why is there a $60 price difference?
the lower priced one does not seem used.
can anyone explain this? I don't want to be ripped off in case one's overtly expensive, or the other one's a goof.
It's called profit and mark-ups?
Most of the time trust, reliability and aftersales service is more valuable than getting the lowest price you can find.
They (futureshop) figured that anyone who can spend $500+ on a camera probably wouldn't mind spending an additional $100 for a battery.
Nikon lists the battery's msrp as $41, so future shop is definitely charging way too much.http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product/Batteries/27017/EN-EL14-Rechargeable-Li-ion-Battery.html
Its a piece of junk and you should buy it
