Which point shoot camera?
I want a point and shoot camera with great image quality, something about 16 mega pixels, and really good video that would be compatible with mac and pc computers. Good battery life and fast shutter speed is also necessary.
I have been looking at Nikon and Canon. I've had the sony cyber shots before and am not happy with the quality.
Any recommendations?

Nikon 1 V1 or Nikon 1 J1. These are very new cameras, advance with interchangeable lens. Also have a good quality and features. Read about it.
Canon is better, both in image quality and shutter speed than Nikon. It's not only the megapixel which decide the image quality, but camera speed.So, i will say that Canon S100 is the best one for you, but a bit pricey. Try Canon products.
