Which one best sony&nikon?

Nikon because they are specialists in cameras and sony do different types or electronical products but with nikon the cameras are for professionals and sony is sort of for out and about and holiday or perhaps if you want smart cameras that is the camera youre needing but unless you want professional shots and better quality nikon for fun and other use sony.

i suggest to buy nikon camera because when i was buying my s6300 at TATA CHROMA, the person holds both the cameras one of sony and one of nikon and then zoomed at same level. Then he indicated at the picture quality and colour texture of nikon which was ahead of sony.

Ah well VIDEO cameras. Well Sony is hard to beat there, they really done allot of research and investments and Sony knows Consumer Electronics.

I don't know how good the Nikon one is but. That one Sony you point at. I'm certain it will do its job very well.

Just remember like any product do your research, does this product has what I desire from it. Does it has all the functionality I need and will it fit in the way I work with it.

In short is it the camera for YOU!

It looks small enough so it would make a perfect easy to take with you videocamera.

I think some people who anwsered NIKON have forgotten we're talking about a VIDEOCAMERA. I get it when it comes to photocameras in the DSLR ranges yes nikon is slightly better. But we're talking about a VIDEOCAMERA.

And guess what Sony has a long long long history with Consumer Electronics in the VIDEOCAMERA category. They are seriously good at it!

Same reason why Sony compact digital cameras are definitely not less then nikon compact cameras. Read the reviews and you find out that the nikon compact cameras are.probably not their strongest point. Guess who is strong there. Sony!

So this isn't Nikon versus Sony, you have to take in WHAT you are talking about. Nikon wins in DSLR"s but when it comes to Videocameras. I trust Sony!

Like many others said. Nikon would be best for photography - they may have a sensor made by Sony, but its all made to Nikon specs combined with Nikon lenses and many years developing cameras for photography.

Sony makes just about anything electronic. They did not have professional SLR film cameras before. In fact they did not have their own DLSR until Sony bought the Minolta brand. But in the video camera category, Sony would be best for videography.
