Which digital cameras still have a viewfinder?

How frustrating is it that the digital cameras have been coming out without a viewfinder on them, in order for the screen to be bigger… I can't compose or sometimes see anything using the screen alone! Which new cameras out of Sony, Nikon, or Canon point and shoots still have the viewfinder?

Added (1). I understand the DSLR cameras have a viewfinder, but I want a compact camera.

All the dslr cameras have a view finder - most bridge do although it's not a real view finder but a screen inside a view finder. Many compacts now are coming without them because, unlike you and me, most people are "snappers" and don't care about photography.

I own two dslr cameras from Canon… The XS and the t1i. Both are excellent with "real" view finders.

Sadly almost no inexpensive compact digicams have built in eye-level v/fs,. There are the expensive Canon and Nikon offerings at £400 or more. Otherwise you need a 'system' camera like the Panasonic or Olympus series or Sony Nex with add-on v'f (awkward?). Best is to look at the DSLRs. I sympathise, I too like to hold the camera steady against my forehead.

The stupidest, most retrogressive step, ever made by camera manufacturers was to remove the viewfinder. Apart for DSLRs and high end 'rangefinder' style cameras you will only find viewfinders on 'bridge' cameras like the Fuji HS10 (and then, they will be electronic)

Ugg i HATE how some don't have veiwfinders, it's AWFUL! I know that my camera the Nikon D3000 has a veiwfinder… I just reread your question and saw you wanted a compact camera, here are a few:

Sorry i can't find any others, I don't think they really make any cameras with a viewfinder still.

Go to a store with a large selection of cameras and see what is out there. I haven't looked lately, but Canon has had quite a few compact cameras with viewfinders in the past.
