Which camera to buy in India?

My Budget is maximum Rupees Seven thousand. Please suggest me best digital cameras to buy in india. Which is best like Nikon or Canon or Sony digital camera or any other?
I also heard that Kodak is not good.

I recommend sony digi cam… I use it for the past 3 yrs no issuse still now and
best value for money. Does a great job.
