That's a mistake, they don't go down… Canon and Nikon don't discount their products. Some retailers will take $50 off but that's it.

Given the recent flooding in Thailand, I'd expect to see DSLR prices go up before they would go down.

The only currently discounted camera is the Nikon D90, which is at it's end-of-production cycle, and is closeout priced.

But the D90 is still a fine camera - I have one - and it will work well for a DSLR that has advanced features over the entry level cameras.
