What Nikon camera lens will give the sharpest close up pictures? SLR digital?
I'm doing a photo project called 10 acres more or less and would like to be able to get up real close on some of the wild flowers that grow here in OHIO.
Probably the 60 micro, though any of the micro lenses are really good. Http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product/Camera-Lenses/1987/AF-Micro-Nikkor-60mm-f%252F2.8D.html
Yes, a macro lens like the AF-S 60 mm f/2.8, 85 mm f/3.5 or 105 mm f/2.8 macro lenses will work just fine.
Which you buy will have more to do with your budget
Check out Nikon's macro (micro) lenses. Be concerned with minimum focusing distances. They vary.
Just remember that super image quality won't make up for lousy composition or exposure. Unless you're being graded on sharpness, which I doubt you are, consider going for a $20-$25 set of close up lenses and instead focus your abilities on making an interesting and visually appealing photo.
