What is the resolution of my camera?

I have a Nikon D3300 for my photography class it says I need a "fully adjustable digital camera having a resolution of 6-megapixels or greater" does my camera cut it? I'm sort of a noob when it comes to photography but I figured since I have a camera I should take a class in photography.

If you search for D3300 specs you get 24.2 megapixels. Which is greater than 6 megapixels. About 6000x4000 Does it cut it for what? Your D3300 is a 24 megapixel dSLR camera. That's 4x the minimum resolution your teacher set so I'm confidently sure it will qualify.
