What does AF mean on a Camera Lens?
I'm going to buy a Nikon Lens, But it says that the AF appears to be broken! What does that mean? And is it possible to still use the lens? Don't know much about lenses, I just want to buy a lens that will have a better zoom. So if someone can help me out, that will be great!
Auto-focus.
AF = Auto Focus
Yes you would still be able to manually focus
Don't buy it, you will have to focus manually every single time.AF means Auto Focus and that is very very important.
AF means autofocus there's also manual focus
Auto Focus, it will still work, but it will be a pain as you will have to manually focus every single time. Some people prefer to use the manual focus, but you will not be able to just sit there and snap a bunch of pictures, you will have to focus each image.
For me it would not be worth the purchase, as sometimes I can't focus on the image manually.
