What Camera is detailed for singing/rapping/playing instruments?

I want to record myself singing, rapping and playing instruments and post it on youtube. Don't worry about a budget.unless its over like 2000$… My camera that i use now makes me sound terrible on high notes. So what camera can i get to make my voice sound the exact same as it is in real life.(and look the exact same). Like a camcorder or those 1000$ nikon etc.camera with the lens? Or what!

Get a good mic and a nice digital recorder and then sync your audio later. You are going to have a hard time recording nice audio otherwise.

I use a Canon MiniDV tape camcorder. It has a Mic port. Into the Mic port of my computer, see - http://asimplelife.ca/boss.html. If your current camcorder takes decent video, record your audio separately and mix in post, it is not hard to do.

When using a device to capture audio that is not your camcorder, use this tip to be able to SYNC your audio and video together once both are put on a timeline for video editing purposes. Standing close to a Microphone, in front of your camcorder, with both recording devices recording the video and audio, CLAP, LOUDLY. This is what we do to simulate the clapper board used by the film makers. Now so long as the recorders stay recording, you have a sync point so when you get back to the computer, it is much easier to sync the audio and video together.

It is not your camera that makes you sound terrible on high notes. Cameras record images. You would be better off to get some audio gear for recording so you have a chance to manipulate the final audio for production.
