What are good scope mounts (rings) for a Nikon Prostaff?

I have a Savage.270 (Axis) and need to mount a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 on it. Any suggestions?

Leupold Rifleman. Work good. Not expensive.

Weaver grand slam, leupold, warne maxima, I suggest one made w/steel be sure to put lil loc tite blue on so it won't come loose during recoil try mounting scope low as possible medium fr 40mm

Maybe I can assist you with this decision. I've found over many years of hunting and using many different guns, scopes and rings and bases, that there are a lot of great and excellent choices. But always remember one thing that is always true. When buying a particular rifle for instance you have a savage 270. Savage most likely has their own bases and rings that are made specific for that model or savage arms in general.
I've always found that using equipment that is made for the brand name and model that I've purchased makes all the difference, because you have to remember gun makers always make accessories for that specific gun that is designed to work perfectly. Hope this helps my friend and good luck.
