Trying to get into photography?

Like the title says I want to get into photography, I've owned multipul cameras in the past(started with cheap film and worked my way up too Digital cameras) but even my digital cameras were cheap walmart cameras, so I really want to get into DSLR cameras and am finding a lot on craigslist (because I'm poor…) but, if anyone has any websites/helpful tips for buying a camera/lenses, that would be SUPER helpful, please.

Bhphotovideo.com - used stuff has some kind of warranty, is rated 1-10 for quality, place has been in business about 50 yrs. Unlike craigslist, where you don't know who you're buying from, b&h has a reputation to maintain. It may cost a bit more (sorry, photography is expensive) but you know what you're buying will work.
