Tips on taking HDR at night?

I got a Nikon D5200, and I'm into HDR photography. How should I set up my camera when I'm taking HDR photos at night? My bracketed images are clean but when I put them in photomatix I get unbelievable amounts of noise all over the picture (NOT ONLY SKY). Please give me as much tips as possible!

P.S. And don't say "use a tripod" "use a remote control" because thas too obvious and I'm using them…

Use a tripod or a remote control

* Set your cameras ISO to 200.
* Meter the scene before you pick your exposures to determine the dynamic range of the scene
* Know that you may have to take five or so different images to get a good range of exposures.
* Shoot in RAW. This will gather more data and allow you to correct for some noise when you process the RAW file and then export them as JPEG image files

Noise is caused by two things.

1) long exposures, so turn on the long exposure NR feature on your camera
2) using high ISO settings.
