Back of my Nikon 35mm won't close?
I shot a roll of film and after the last shot, the screen said "end" and the back popped open. I took the film out which obviously all got ruined, but now the camera still won't close.
It is a Nikon n6006
That is bazaar behavior for a 35 mm camera
Here is a link to the user manual.

For now, take your camera to a repair shop and see what they can discover about the camera and you inability to latch the cameras back.
If you don't have one yet, get a copy of your camera's manual from http://butkus.org.
If the film you took out was all in the can (except maybe for the short film leader), then your pictures are safe. If you had to rewind the film back to the can yourself then the film is ruined.
Usually, at the end of the roll, automatic cameras rewind the film back to the can. The door shouldn't open by itself but it can open accidentally if the right button is unfortunately pressed. This leads us to the main problem. The door won't close. The lock has been damaged or stopped working. Try pushing the lock up and down and see if the latch actually moves. A very small amount of baby oil (try using the thin end of a toothpick) can go a long way.
