SOCAPA Photography Two Week Session?

I want to attend the Photography session at SOCAPA Manhattan but how much photo equipment do you need and do you have to have a certain type of camera? I have a Nikon L110 but i feel like if i go they might perfer a diiferent camera

It appears from their site that you should have a 35mm SLR. But their digital only would require a DSLR. What you have is a bridge camera.

SOCAPA has Canon Rebel DSLRs and Nikon 35mm camera available, but you you have your own (D)SLR it's best to bring it.
