So right now i have a nikon d3300 and i really like the camera it has great features for video and i mostly do video the reason i'm thinking of changing to canon is that i feel like the canon lenses are way cheaper then nikon lenses. Should i sell my camera to get a canon or should i stick with the nikon. If i i should get a canon which one should i get?

Nikon is known for its photographic capabilities and gets fairly bad reviews for their video capabilities. Not all Canons are good for video either. If you were to upgrade to an 80D, then that would be a good choice for those who want a DSLR for video. But none are as good as a Panasonic GH4 or GH5.
If you want really good video capabilities then upgrade to the GH5 instead of a DSLR from Canon or Nikon. No No. The lens argument doesn't stack up here because you can buy equally good Tamron SP or Sigma lenses for your Nikon; you an even buy used ones from reputable dealers. Canon is just better at implementing live view and so is a little bit better for video control.

You would be so much better served by getting a real video camera for the same money.

If you're set on it and will get a Canon anyway then make it a mid-range 70 or 80D. There's a new intermediate one just out that kind of bridges the gap too. As you "mostly do video" with a DSLR just get a good video camera. Camcorders offer some advantages for video over DSLRs.

Better shooting form factor for run and gun style
Some have external mic inputs
XLR audio inputs is common on more expensive models
Longer shooting takes possible Canon people feel that Nikkor lenses are inexpensive and Nikon users feel the same way about Canon lenses. Both the companies have inexpensive lenses. It is just a matter of looking at the right ones.
