Panasonic Lumiz DMC-GX1 or Nikon 1 v1?
I'm downgrading from the Canon 7D because of the weight/size and the loss of interest in photography. I'm going to sell this slr as they are going for about the same as i bought it new. I have also found good prices for these 2 cameras on digitalrev. However i can't decide which one to get because they both have pluses and negatives. Please can you help.
Reasons For Panasonic
more professional looking
apparently better features
better sensor
better lenses
Reasons for Nikon
cheaper
able to fit slr lenses on it
more for you money
Please GIVE ME MORE REASONS FOR EACH? Thank you
Added (1). OR THE FUJI X100. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT LUMIX ITS RATHER V1 OR X100!
F-mount lenses will not mount of a 1 series camera. You're better off with a Sony interchageable lens camera, such as the NEX-F3
My wife has the J1 which is much cheaper than the V1 and at £500 for the twin lens pack it's worth considering.
The Nikon J1 is a great little camera, but you do need to read parts of the manual. If you are someone who likes to capture the moment, this camera is very good in bright light. The colors (white balance) is very good, and in bright light the camera will focus more quickly than most cameras out there.
