Nikon's af-d prime lenses?

I'm sure there are alot, but can someone list them all? (not give me a link)
Can you tell me which has the best build quality as well?

I only own one af-d, it is the 85mm f1.4 and it is a great, great, GREAT! Lens. It works beautifully on my F5. Yes I'm one of the very few people still shooting film.

As you will see, there are AF and AF-S lenses listed.

The "D" and "G" notations are found in all the AF-S lenses and you can find the primes easily enough

Since the 1950s, Nikon has made some 70 million lenses, and there are over 74 lenses in their current catalog.

And add the many AF lenses that have been made over the years, there are literally hundreds of AF lenses.

You can get an idea of the best ones by the lens speed. F/1.4 to f/2.8 are the best - depending on whether the lens is a prime or zoom.

However, that by itself is no guarantee as there are a few duds here and there.
