Nikon camera memory card?
Well i just imported my pictures on to my macbook pro by putting my memory card in the computer, but now the memory card is completely empty and importing them deleted them from the memory card. I have a bunch of pictures from prom that i was planning to get developed at cvs using the memory card, so how can i get the pictures back on it?
A flash drive will work just fine.
You have to use the "copy" mode in Finder if you want the images to stay on your memory card. Mac's typically "move" the images unless you tell it otherwise.
You still will have to format the card using the format feature on your camera to assure that there are no remnants of the old files left on it, which can cause all kinds of problems later.
Most of us either upload our image files to the lab of our choice and then pick them up at our leisure or use a USB flash drive (also known as "thumb drives") to take our image files into the lab for printing.
