My digital camera lens has fogged up from inside?
I have a nikon S70 and its lens has fooged up from the interior… Can't seem to shake it off… How to do away with it
One thing people here often suggest is to bury the camera is a bowl of rice for a few days. I've not had the problem but it does seem to help. That or take it to a pro for repair.
The bowl of rice thing works. Make sure it's dry rice (lol) not cooked. This happens a lot when you live in a humid climate.
Rather than mess with rice, I would get a silica gel pack from a camera store. Put it in a sealed sandwich bag with the silica gel, with the battery removed, and the battery door open.
Get it to Nikon service center and they will solve the problem correctly. They can charge some amount, but its worth it. Better than taking risk on your own by experimenting to clean it up.
