Looking for the best Nikon.for me?
I'm in need of a new camera. Since my bday and Christmas are so close together I'd like to get a Nikon. My cousin is photographer and is looking for someone to help part time in the summer. I'm a stay at home mom and was thinking maybe I could help out. I need to find a Nikon camera that's will work for that. So any helpful opinions are appreciated.
Hi. The best Nikon i can think of for you would be the D40.It's a decent price and i have one myself. It's really good for beginners or someone who's not a pro. It's really basic and easy to work with, and still takes high quality, professional pictures. Here are some that I've personally taken with mine, in case you wanted to see how the pictures come out. (keep in mind, I'm only 13 so I'm sure you can get better ones!)
hope this helped!
The entry level Nikon D3200 would be a good start.
As you get better as an assistant, you will probably be taking on more responsibility and should be able to buy a second lens so you do not have to borrow your friends some of the time

Right now, during Christmas, you can find the D3200 on sale for under $600
A Nikon D3x with a 18-200 VR lens would be nice.
I think you should get the Nikon D3200. Stepping up to much more expensive camera is not going to make a difference to you. The D3200 is a great camera and probably the best one for the money.
