Must have Nikkor lenses?
Just wondering which are the best lenses for nikon DSLR's Price isn't an issue thanks
-50mm f/1.4 (f/1.8 if your on a budget)
-24-70mm f/2.8
-70-200mm f/2.8
The rest really depends on what you are planning on shooting.
The classic Nikon trinity are;
12-24mm f4 (£800)
24-70mm f2.8 (£1200)
70-200mm f2.8 (£1600)
I'd also add 85mm f1.4 (£1285) - creamy bokeh! And the 105mm f2.8 macro (£615)
24-70 f2.8. Nice allrounder. The old 70-180 micro is on my list as is the 600mm f4 VR
Price is an issue for me, so here's my setup:
D90 body, SB600 flash
Tokina 12-24mm f4
Nikon DX AF-S 35mm f1.8 G
Nikon AF 50mm f1.8 D
Nikon-Micro AF 105mm f2.8 D
Nikon AF 300mm f4 (the 2000 and earlier version)
I love Prime lenses They make me focus on my composition. Zooms make me lazy. I just zoom in or out to grab my shot.
