Is an 2.0 Micro Sd card a regular sd card?

I bought a Nikon coolplix L105 and it didn't come with memory card. So if I buy a 2.0 micro sd card and put it in my adapter will my camera carry pictures?

It will work but why? With an adapter you have an extra set of contacts to foul up and wreck your photos. Just buy a full size SDHC card.

It will work, but I'd really suggest a regular SD media card of the maximum capacity your camera will accept. Those Micro cards aren't really that good, especially when you start trying to delete and download the photos from them.
