Is a 1/2.3 sensor to small for a quality bridge camera?

Most bridge cameras by and large use the 1/2.3" sensor. A larger sensor would mean larger lenses and reduced reach. Cost of course is a big factor
Checkout the Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV
you will get an idea of a "quality" bridge camera, lol
Now if you work within its limitations of working in decent to good lighting conditions and use a tripod / support for long zooms, these bridge cameras can be quite a handful - yeah those with the 1/2.3" sensors
