If i used the built-in flash, will the flash cast a shadow on my Nikon 18-200mm lens?

I want to know this before I buy this lens.

It's very hard to know without using it first, visit a camera shop and see if they have the lens in store for you to try out.

I've found that a problem only if the lens is fully extended. I use a Canon 28-200 with out any shadow unless the lens is fully extended. But that doesn't happen because why would you extend the lens that far for a flash shot? You probably wouldn't. I'd say no problem.
