I need a pro-cam that fits my needs?

I'm fascinated by taking pictures, mostly of nature and sports and odd subjects, i could take pictures of people but mostly its about the other scenes. Does anybody, have a pro opinion on what camera i should buy? Price doesn't matter seeing that it will be my new hobby. I've planned in getting a Nikon, i like the hold to them, and their style, but I'm sort of a rookie when it comes to pro pic taking, so when it comes to features i don't know squat, so if anybody could give me a suggestion to what camera i should try first. Also I don't want the need to Photoshop my pictures, so amazing picture taking tips are also welcome.

That is quite ambitious - you "don't know squat", yet you want a pro-cam which cost many thousands of dollars for the body alone!

Perhaps you don't know this, but even "pro-cams" don't have a magic button that guarantees you good photos.

Let's get down to reality here. You are NOT ready for a DSLR.

Buy yourself a nice bridge camera and do a LOT of learning. If you do, then in a couple of years from now you'll know exactly what you want/need and how to use it.

If you go shopping right now, I can totally guarantee you that you'll end up disappointed with your cruddy results.

Others may well join in, if they haven't shaken their heads and gone elsewhere, but what in your mind is a pro-pic taker and what is a pro-pic?

There are very many amateur photographers who can take excellent "pro" photos, but it's not their day job and they don't make their living from it… Which is why professional photographers are called professional photographers. It's their occupation and livelihood and they've got the appropriate skills and knowledge.

As said, you can spend many thousands of $$ buying a professional camera but if you don't know how to use it, or when to use it, or what additional bits of kit you may need, your pictures will be bad.

And Photoshop is there for a reason. What comes out of the camera, unless you're very very very lucky, will need editing and tweaking.

If price doesn't matter then you obviously need the nikon D3x.

If you have the money, get the new Nikon D800 and some very good lenses like the 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8. Now you need to learn about photography. You won't outgrow that camera anytime soon. It's the person behind the camera that makes the difference.
