How good are Sony HX10V's 1080/60i Video recordings?

I don't intend to shoot any sport scenes & just wanted to know whether I'll notice any difference between HX10's 1080/60i & HX20's 1080p. Can I go for the HX10 & use it for a few years without regretting for not getting myself a 1080p cam? I don't really want to go for the HX20.Is Canon going to release something like this at the same price? I don't like Canon & Nikon's current range.

I used that camera before… Really good… It will autofocus for you

The video on both cameras are nearly identical. Go for the HX10V.

We won't know what Canon is going to release until they announce it. Here is their new camera in about the same price range.
