Would this ring light be efective?

I want cheap and afforable to work with my Nikon D200.

My question is, is the individual LED lights good? Or is one continuous light better? And is the small LED's even that strong?

Wow, i can tell you from using both an LED and a Photo strobe ring flash (like the second you listed) that the Photo strobe is much better. And that's a good price too. I used a different brand but I still returned the LED ring flash i bought after a week. It wasn't really that bright, and i dint like the light it cast, or the multi bright spots i got along the ring
