When will the Nikon D800 be in stock?

It's been released for months and I know it was released in limited quantity. Does anyone know anything about this? When will it finally be redly available?

Added (1). Its not available anywhere! If you look around you'll see that. I want to know WHEN Nikon will release more of them.

Added (2). Ok again. I KNOW IT EXISTS. If you try to buy it you will find it is for PRE-ORDER only or OUT OF STOCK. If someone can find it somewhere other than Ebay then props to them.

I think B&H let's you request an e-mail when they get more in stock.

I'd just check their site daily or even more than that. I stumbled across my D300 about a month after they were released. It was about 2AM eastern time. I clicked "add to cart" immediately and never regretted it.

I have a friend who works in a camera shop who said people are waiting about four months for D800s. They only get one or two from Nikon at the time. They will put your name on a list. I'd go to a few places and add my name to the list.
