Nikon d2X VS D70 for ISO NOISE PERFORMANCE?
Out of the two cameras, which would be able to give better iso performance as in less noise?
I know they are both similar, but could the d2x be better since it was released later on? Or no since it is still built on the older D2?
Added (1). Also another question. Would the D2x have an annoyingly high error rate like the green light of death issue on the D70? Or does the D2x not suffer from something that bad?
The D2X is a much more robust camera and has better colour depth and dynamic range than the D70. They are just about on par when it comes to shooting in low light, the D2X with a full stop more range than the D70, 3200 ISO vs. 1600
The D2x is a professional camera compared to the D70 which was pretty much an intermediate/entry level camera at the time it was released… So it's features are likely to be better, but the real difference in ISO performance was only when the D3 was introduced…
I have a D70s that doesn't suffer any errors at all… The D2x is likely to be the same.
- High mega pixels = worst noise performance?
- Nikon camera D5300 kit lens making a noise while taking pictures? And it's not the auto focusing noise
- Nikon d3x or d3s best hi iso noise reduction?
- Upgrading my DSLR camera from Nikon D60 to Canon, need low noise on high ISO?
- How much noise reduction is just 'fine' and equal to that of iso 100?
