My Nikon D200 doesn't read the memory card
My Nikon D200 doesn't take photos, its not reading the Memory card, in the LSD top has "[CHA]" where is suppose to be the photo counter, and it keeps lighting, i don't know what does it means, someone knows what's that "CHA" in there?
Have you tried another card? I would bet that card is bad.
CHR is telling you that the card can't be used. Look on page 194 of your user manual
There are usually two reasons for this
* The card is just bad and needs to be replaced (most CF cards have long warranties)
* Someone attempted to format the card using an Apple computer. The card uses FAT16 or FAT32. Macs use a totally different formatting scheme and can damage cards.
