Hi there I was planning on buying Nikon D800 SLR Camera for photo studio in this website: http://www.oemdeal.com/ Is this website trustworthy to buy products? Because it has greats discounts and its kind of awkward. Or has anyone purchased any product from this website? Please answer As soon as possible. It's for a birthday gift for this upcoming April.

If you are unsure then I would say that you should say to yourself no it isn't

trustworthy sites are ones that have the safety shield dated on them.

Either go to the store or shop with amazon, ebay, or Target.

I'm really not too sure about this one. Because I even looked the website up on google and I couldn't find any reviews on it, I couldn't even find the exact website again! But now it's got me interested because it has the camera I want, lol. So I'll do some looking around about this for a while.

A 5D Mark III for $1700? A 5D Mark II for 500 bucks? A D800 for $1971?
There's gotta be something fishy going on there. A company in China selling pro gear at almost half the price… Not so sure if I'd buy something there.

However, this is what they answered someone who asked about the prices:

"1---we are wholesaler and we get our product directly from a big manufacturer, which has a lower labor force and original materials, that's why the price are low.
2---We promise that all the products are in brand new box with original accessories, package, manuals, registration card, Serial number etc. All items come with 1 year warranty."

Also, here's what they say about them:

"Established in 2005, HaoHan Electronic wholesale company today have set up good cooperate relationship with the OEM company like foxcoon, quanta which is the largest notebook ODM company in the world. We buy goods directly from the OEM company like foxcoon, quanta, and we have set up good cooperate relationship, thus all of our goods are at a very low price."

I'd say google around, ask in forums etc to see if anyone has ever bought something there. It seems to me like they might be selling cheap replicas of the original cameras.
However, I could be wrong and they're legit… But it's kinda improbable.

How did you find it? For some reason you can't even find the site if you google it, as someone pointed out.

The prices look very low, I'd think twice.

Most legitimate companies also make the effort to include correct English grammar and spelling - they haven't.

It has scam written all over it

the retail price is $3000 for the D800 (body only). If you find any lower price online, it is probably a scam, especially since it is a brand new item

I used the site for 6 months… It did work… Worked very well for me… Sept to March. The most impressive thing is they accept Paypal or COD (cash on delivery),
The site did give people convenience… Its just a safe and easy market to buy. Just have great photos and a well written listing for the site to publish and you are going to save 40%… In my case…
the most important thing is they gave good feedbacks, Check the seller's feedback, which is the best way to determine the trustworthiness.
