Difference between shutter button of D90, D5000 versus D300s, D700 and so on?

Are these black shutter buttons better in any way then the cheaper versions of the nikon camera's?

Added (1).:-) so no difference?

Added (2). I was just wondering… Never really worked with higher end models…

It's probably just a little difference with feeling…

But now with sensitivity when focussing?

The shutter release really isn't THAT important a feature of a camera…

except with regards to build quality…

if you are bothered by the build of the shutter release, then you have some serious issues.

No.

A shutter release button on any dSLR will perform just as well as another.

Are we to understand that you think that the shutter release has something to do with the shutter cycle numbers many camera companies test their camera?

That number is only a test number and has only to do with the shutter itself.

Just because a shutter is tested to 150, 000 cycles does not mean the shutter will fail at 150, 001. Not at all. The Nikon D3 is tested to 300, 000 cycles, yet a colleague of mine has one with over 1, 000, 000 shutter cycles on it

The shutter cycle test is just about as meaningless as pixel counting or adding the word "professional" to a $40 piece of camera gear

No difference…

, I can't believe someone is hung up on shutter buttons of all things… Sheesh!
