Yongnuo RF-603 sync cable?
I'm looking to purchase this sync cable for firing my AlienBees B800: http://www.ebay.com/...0564125167
However, I'm using a Nikon D90 and it is not listed as one of the compatible models. It doesn't make sense cause the cable will be attached to the transceiver and flash unit - not the camera. Will it still work?
Yest it will work, the differences for the camera models is in the pins on the hotshoe, all you need for this application is the central sync pin, both the Canon and Nikon version will work on your D90 for this.
The standard sync cord that comes with the AlienBees will work fine.
The camera you use is irrelevant -- you're getting a sync cord to go from the flash to the radio trigger, which has a standard "PC" flash sync terminal.
The one you linked to on e-bay will work fine. Again, the camera is not involved in this in any way, this cable goes from the RF-603 to the AlienBees 1/8" sync terminal, and has nothing to do with the camera.
- My camera didn't come with a USB cable. Is it okay to use my phone USB cable or I have to buy a Nikon's cable?
