Will the price of the Nikon D3100 go down when the D3200 comes out?
I'm just wondering because I want a DSLR, and I won't be able to afford the D3200 so I'm probably going to get the D3100. Should I wait until after the D3200 has come out so that I can get the D3100 cheaper?
It has already gone down in price.
The D3100 was reduced $50 a few weeks ago.
There's where you could have found all this out by going directly to the source
The 3100's price has dropped - the 3200 is already being shipped/has been released.
Nikon announced that the D3200 is not a direct replacement for the D3100 and the two models will be available side by side for some time. However the price of the D3100 has been dropped on the back of this. It does appear to be a genuine price cut and not a discount due to discontinuation (so far).
