Will all nikon lenses fit a nikon d5100? - 1

Basically. For example would a nikon d3200 kit lens fit a d5100? Do they all fit eachother?

To your specific question, yes, the D3000/D5000 take the same lenses, but there are exceptions;
Pre AI lenses or those with protruding rear elements may damage your camera.
AI and AIS (manual focus) lenses will fit, but won't allow you to use your exposure meter - no MF lens, of course, permits autofocus.
AF lenses will meter, but won't allow autofocus.
AF-S or third-party motorised lenses allow full functionality on both.

The newer AF ones yes. The only problem is with old lenses which can lose metering and autofocus.
But you can do so much better than just a kit lens.
