Which would you suggest Point and Shoot or Camcorder?

I already own a Nikon D60. I'm looking for a camera that has good resolution and zoom for great pictures in a more compact camera. I'm also looking for a camera/camcorder to record videos for youtube but I'm look at a price range of about $200 or less. I know there are good point and shoot cameras that also shoot HD video but would I just be better off looking at camcorders?
