Which video camera is best for me?

I want to buy a camera that takes photos and records,
i need something that is good for high speed stuff because i'm going to be recording motocross videos.
i also want the highest quality too because i would like to do some slow mo scenes and i don't want it to be hell laggy.
the most i'm willing to pay is $2000 probably at the most but if its a couple hundred over still recommend it, i was looking at a nikon d7000 is it worth buying?

Dslr is good. It's really the big question right now.

If you want a high quality photo camera and video camera I do suggest a DSLR which can take video. Something like the Canon EOS 550d would be good.
