What macro photography lens to get?

Right i'm 15 and still would consider myself quite a novice in the camera department but i have a nikon D5100 and i'm really into macro photography and extreme close ups of things and before now I have been using macro filters that screw on which were good enough when I had my D40 but now I've upgraded i'm looking for a decent lens that will do the job and hopefully not be too expensive

You can still use the diopters on your lens now, but like you have guessed, a true macro lens will produce better quality images
