What lenses can the Nikon D600 use?
I'm getting the D600 and I was wondering what kind of lenses it uses. Can you use the standard 18-55 from the D3100?
Yes you can use the 18-55 mm lens. The D600 automatically crops to the APS-C size when ANY DX Nikkor lens is used. It is only Canon EF-S lenses that can't be used on full frame Canon cameras, not a problem with the Nikon system
When buying future lenses, just make sure that they are FX lenses and you will be able to use the full frame sensor
Yes, but you'll get a cropped image.
Look for Nikon AF lenses (FX) designed for full-frame or 35mm.
Yes that lens will fit and most older Nikor lens will fit but you do lose features like program mode, auto focus but you can still get a picture
