What is this star doing?

I was taking pictures of the stars the other night and when I went through them later I found a strange looking one. It almost looks like something was flying around it. Please let me know if you have any ideas of what it could be?
I was using a nikon D40 with a 200mm zoom and the exposure was 30 seconds long.
Added (1). Sorry wrong picture here are the real ones.
Its the star in the middle bottom. In one it makes a cone like swirl and in the other it makes a circle and going into the middle of it.

I guess this is caused by some movements in your tripod. If you look closely, you'll see the same thing in other bright stars too.

That's the brightest star, which means you're picking up more like from it than the others. What happened here is that your tripod moved during the picture, either at the beginning or end of your exposure. This moved the tripod and camera, making the squiggle you see - and only in the brightest stars, because those are giving you the most light to work with. We often see this when the telescope moves during an exposure. You need to find a remote way to start the exposure so you don't move the tripod - I used to have a camera trigger device that screwed into the exposure button of my old Olympus and let me trigger it from a foot away. A camera store can probably help you with that if it's not a new digital camera. Or just practice setting it off very carefully.
