Officially it is called the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G ED II, but often it's abbreviated to the AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G ED II.

Earlier versions of the lens will also work, this is the AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G ED, and later versions add VR, called the AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm f3.5-5.6G VR.

Yep that's the standard kit lens for Nikon's sold now.

Another possibility if you want slightly more 'reach' is the 18-105mm;
