Pictures erased off camera?

Okay so i was playing around with the settings on my camera and i was on one of my pictures and suddenly all my pictures erased and i can't get them back at all. I can't find them and i have a nikon D3000. Please tell me there's a way to get them back i'm desperate. It has all my sisters graduation pictures and all my summer pictures.

Although this has personally never happened to me, I've seen recovery programs like Recuva being suggested for cases like these. Give it a try and see how it goes.

There are several recovery programs online if you do a search. However, the bigger problem is that you are storing your photos in your camera. You should NEVER do this. You should always transfer your photos to a computer for storage at the end of every day that you use your camera.

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos.
