Nikon D80 will NOT let me take any photos, shows FULL message. What can I do?
I have checked the 64 GB memory card, it has 0 photos.
1) will your D80 use a huge card like a 64 gb?
2) have you EVER formatted the drive using the format feature on your camera. That is something you need to do routinely to prevent card corruption. Since it is important to copy all your images to your computer at the end of each shooting day, I see no benefit for buying such a huge card, except to the maker of the card… Getting your hard earned money You may find a handful of 4 gb cards much more efficient. How long do you think ti would take to copy that volume of image files to your computer?
NOTE: Just in case you failed to read your user manual, your camera does NOT support SDHX cards, so the largest card you can use is a SDHC 32 gb.
NOTE2: Memory cards are not designed for long term storage. For that you need an external drive like a 1 tb, less than $80 most places
