This will be my first DSLR, and after million reviews, i decided to get the d7000. But I can't make up my mind in what's the best thing to do. Most of my shoots will be urban/ buildings, people. And also a lot of night shots, like stars… There's a kit that comes with it: Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera Two-Lens VR Outfit (18-105 AF DX & 55-300mm VR f/4.5-5.6G) or Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera Two-Lens VR Outfit (18-105 AF DX & 70-300mm VR f/4.5-5.6G) or Nikon D7000 DX-Format Digital SLR Camera Two-Lens VR Outfit (18-105 AF DX & 55-200mm VR f/4-5.6G)… Anyway or I was thinking maybe to buy just the body and get a different lens? I don't know much about the glass yet, i'm about to go to school so i can learn a things like that. But for now i don't know what to do, if you know the best thing i can get please let me know.

The D7000 is a great camera.

Depending upon your budget, you may want to consider getting the 18-200 mm VR lens as your first "walk around" lens.

Later you can save your pennies and buy a nice wide angle zoom like the 10-24 mm and maybe a nice 300 mm f/4 lens if you are into shooting wildlife.

Out of combos listed above:
-D7000
-18-105
-70-300
sounds the best. If you are just learning that's actually is not a bad kit. You've got a respectable focal length covered and a good cam body.
