Anyone mind explaining the dual memory card slot for the nikon d7000? If my first mem card is full, my dslr will auto switch it to my second memorycard, right? But what if when i'm using my second memory card, i deleted some pictures off from my first memorycard and my second memory card gets full? Will the dslr switch back to the first memory card?

It's a serious amateur camera. Serious amateurs start a shoot with a clean card and don't use cards as storage devices.

You can set it up fill the first card, then go to the second, or to simultaneously write to both cards for a backup.

The second memory card slot can be used as backup (image files going to both cards), sequentially, as you fill one card, the image files will automatically save to the second or you can send JPEG image files to one card and RAW files to the other.

Actually the D7000 is considered a semi-pro APS-C sensored camera. It has seals to keep dust and moisture from entering the camera
